![]() In long term it may be a pitty having to activate your DAW every time you want to use your Radias for sound editing (provided you want to) so the better solution will be to sell that N49 and look for another KB with MIDI ports or buy a USB to MIDI converter. ![]() ![]() I've set up a Guitar Rig plugin on one channel strip with a simple resonant filter and have set the first dial on my Nocturn to control the resonance. Hi there, I'm still getting to grips with Ableton and Automap. Since I don't use Ableton, I can't tell you how exactly to do this with it. Novation Nocturn seems to be forgetting what I've taught it. Select in Ableton your N49 as MIDI input and route it to the "RADIAS 1 SOUND" output. Now you have to use your DAW with Ableton or any other program to act as bridge between your N49 and the Radias. 2 input "RADIAS 1 KBD/KNOB" "RADIAS 1 MIDI IN" and 2 outputs "RADIAS 1 MIDI OUT" "RADIAS 1 SOUND" If you have installed correctly the Radias USB drivers (read the installation guide) you will have 4 MIDI ports via USB. It has been designed to make the job of assigning your hardware controls to various software parameters quick and easy. *Korg Radias has Midi (In, Out, Thru) and USB connections as well as audio jacks. Automap is a piece of software that comes with all Novation controllers. Is it going to be possible to use the Nocturn 49 with my Korg Radias? Doesn't look like it to me. Obviously, I didn't read the spec's well enough to note that the Nocturn 49 only has a single USB connection to PC and no Midi connections. My intention was to use it as keyboard for my Korg Radias (rack mount) as well as a midi keyboard with Ableton Live.
